As an independent company we are free to select ANY brand of spectacle lens or contact lens to suit our patient’s needs, we aren’t tied to just a few suppliers.

Free NHS Eye Exams

We offer free, comprehensive NHS funded eye exams to people of all ages at each of our shops.

We have shops in Tayside and Fife which are located at Dundee, St Andrews and Anstruther.

Budget and Designer Spectacles Available

We have an extensive range of budget and designer spectacles and frames available here at Govan Optometrists.

We offer a vast choice of frames, from our own Govan Exclusive designs, to many designer names including Ray-Ban, Oakley, Paul Smith, Gucci, Persol, Emporio Armani, Prada and more.

We also have a large choice of children’s frames, many free with a voucher.

We have a frame for everyone, and for every budget!

We also stock a wide range of sunglasses, including Ray-Ban and Oakley, at truly amazing prices (see our the Rayban @ Govans and Oakley @ Govans tabs for more details), many of which can be made with prescription lenses.

Our experienced opticians and staff are here to give you the advice and the help that you need.

Our opticians can give our patients advice about eyecare, and will take the time to explain in plain english the results of an eye exam.
