A grand day out …
More than £6,500 has been raised by North Fife Rotary at their annual Charity Golf Day – staged at Scotscraig Golf Course.
The event saw fourteen teams take part – 56 golfers in total – enjoying the iconic course as well as the recently refurbished clubhouse where players enjoyed the event’s lunch and dinner.
Steve Gilman of the Rotary Club thanked all for taking part, saying: “It was a grand day. Special thanks go to our main sponsors – The Friendship Cup Scotland, The Ancient Links Scotscraig Golf Course and Arnold Clark Mercedes Benz Dundee for sponsoring the costs of the Hole in One.” Steve adds: “The Hole in One competition on the third hole proved very popular – but unfortunately no one won that or the other cash prizes on 3 other holes.”

Over £6500 was raised towards Rachel House Children’s Hospice’s new Sensory Room – sponsored by Kinross Rotary Club – and other North Fife children’s good causes that the Rotary Club supports.
Beat the pro …
As well as the main competition, golfers took part in a ‘Beat the Pro’ challenge with Alan from the Scotscraig Golf Pro Shop – helping to raise an additional £400.
Steve (pictured below with participants from the event) concludes: “It was a great day. I’d like to thank the Scotscraig team for their help and support before and on the day. It made it a very memorable event and we are already planning a return in 2027.”
On this, Steve says anyone interested in booking their place can get in touch now by emailing him via this link. He will then keep everyone up to date on the date and event plans.
