Summer Brunch?
Lazing on a Sunday afternoon? That sounds like a perfect recipe. Old Course Hotel is introducing a chilled way to spend Sunday afternoons this summer – launching their Veuve Clicquot Picnic Brunches.
The brunches take place on the first Sunday of each month – from June to September. The “exclusive ticketed experience” welcomes guests to The Conservatory. Step through the doors to the hotel’s lawn where you will enjoy seasonal food, world-class Champagne and laid-back DJ sets, not to mention unrivaled, sweeping views of the historic Old Course.
The events are presented in partnership with iconic Champagne house, Veuve Clicquot.
Chilled …
Each occasion includes a thoughtfully-curated picnic menu presented in handcrafted wooden boxes for two. In addition to their chef-crafted buffet stations will be three glasses of perfectly chilled Veuve Clicquot Champagne or you can choose French Bloom – a refined, alcohol-free sparkling alternative from Limoux, France.
Relax in The Conservatory or on the adjoining lawn whilst enjoying cool tunes, exceptional food and refreshing drinks.
On the menu …
- Chef prepared picnics featuring sourdough with artisan chutneys, sable shortbread, focaccia sandwiches served directly by the chefs, and creamy hummus dip.
- A dedicated pie and roll station, complete with charcuterie, fine cheeses and seasonal fresh vegetable crudités.
- A playful sweet station, offering whole fruits and nostalgic favourites including candy and jellybeans.
- An indulgent dessert selection with delicate mono-desserts including macarons, tiramisu, brownies and verrine.
- A hydration station featuring a selection of infused waters.
Guests can also enjoy the Champagne bar, offering Veuve Clicquot by the glass or bottle, available at an additional charge.

The Veuve Clicquot Picnic Brunches are ticketed – so book now to avoid disappointment.
They will be held on the first Sunday of each month through the summer – 1 June, 6 July, 3 August and 7 September.
Each event begins at noon and is priced at £70 per person.
