Santa’s Sleigh!

The Rotary Club of Cupar is back with their much-loved Santa’s Sleigh – helping to raise funds for Cupar Food Bank and Age Concern Cupar. They will be visiting destinations across north Fife before the big day. Organisers stress that “weather, breakdowns and/or umpteen other reasons means the routes are NOT guaranteed” but they will do their very best to cover as many areas as possible.

The following list – which includes the many organisations in support – is a guide only, so please keep an eye on their page for updates and more information via this link. And if you would like to contribute to their running costs, you can do so via their Just Giving page on this link.

Santa will then be very busy getting ready for the big day!

Reverse Advent

Join the Cupar Food Bank Reverse Advent Calendar campaign. Throughout November, we have been posting images of items the Food bank needs to help make up hampers for distribution in December.

  • ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ผ? Not everyone will be able to take part but if you can, it will help to make a real difference to some of our areaโ€™s most vulnerable.
  • ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ? The Cupar Food Bank supports people right across north-east Fife, from Newburgh to Crail.
  • ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜? Everyday items as well as the occasional festive treat; weโ€™re posting items they need on a daily basis on the CuparNow Facebook and Instagram pages as a guide โ€ฆ so scroll back to see any youโ€™ve missed.

  • ๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ป? Every day from now until the end of November – an item a day for 24 days, just as in the traditional Advent calendar.
  • ๐—ช๐—ต๐˜†? Many are facing very tough times with increasing living costs, energy bills and more. If you are able to help, your generosity will mean a great deal to so many during what can be a very challenging time.
  • ๐—›๐—ผ๐˜„? Pop the item we feature (or something similar) into a box at home, your place of work or in your school and – come Monday 1st December – drop your gathered items into the Food Bank in Cupar. They will then manage their distribution to those most in need as they count down to Christmas.
