Play Scotscraig … and win a car!
Well … you have a chance to win a car! The North Fife Rotary Club Golf Tournament is back and this year’s event hooks up with Arnold Clark Mercedez-Benz of Dundee. Every entrant will have a shot at a hole-in-one … to win a Mercedez-Benz A Class!
The event – sponsored by The Friendship Cup in Scotland and supported by Scotcraig, part of The Ancient Links Golf Company – will be held at Scotscraig on Friday 29th May.
Play and save …
There are tiered packages for four-balls – starting at just £90 per person – a £35 saving on the regular green fee.
Steve Gilman of the local Rotary Club explains their fund raising from the event saying: “This is a major event for us in our calendar as we look to raise much-needed funds for local children’s charities.” Steve adds: “This year, we will be focused on contributing to the Sensory Room at Rachel House.”
About Rachel House …
Rachel House in Kinross is a children’s hospice operated by CHAS. After 30 years, it is in need of major refurbishment to provide current standards of care for the children and improve the standard of support for parents and families. Planning permission has been granted with work on the £17.5m rebuild planned to commence in summer 2026.
The Rotary Club of Kinross in partnership with CHAS have combined with the Rotary Club of Durham to raise funds to equip out the new sensory room, which will be the only round room in the refurbished Rachel House. If funds permit additional sensory equipment will be installed throughout the building. The room will bring joy to the children and their siblings with the benefits of reducing stress, having fun, helping to take their minds off discomfort and pain. The cost of the sensory room alone is estimated at £50k.
The North Fife Rotary Club golf day will help to support this thoroughly deserving project.
How to register …
All interested are asked to email Steve Gilman: you can do so via this link. Further information is on the poster below and the Club are urging all local golf lovers to share with friends, family and colleagues to help spread the word.

200 years of golf …
Be a part of the evolving history of the game and play this unique course.
Scotscraig is a course with a continuous competitive history and has played a pivotal role in over 200 years of Scottish golf. The Gold Medal, first played in 1818, is among the oldest competitions still contested in the game. It is a traditional Scottish links course founded in 1817 by members of The Society of St Andrews Golfers, and remains the oldest still owned and played by its founding club.

Originally laid out by Davie Robertson (Champion Golfer 1830 – 1835) and later refined by Old Tom Morris and James Braid, Scotscraig offers a fair but demanding test, playing firm and fast when conditions allow.
The Rotary Club hopes to have a full schedule come the 29th May and looks forward to welcoming competitors – old and new – to this unique fund-raising event.
